The chairman and founder of Sobha, Mr. Menon has over 40 years of experience in the premium real estate and construction sector. He began his career in Oman with the launch of the interior design firm Services & Trade Company that established itself as one of the largest turnkey interiors and contracting solutions providers in the GCC region. Menon founded Sobha India in 1994. With a presence in 24 cities and 13 states across the subcontinent,Sobha is India’s third-largest realestate development company in terms of total square feet delivered and the world’s only backward- integrated real estate company.

After entering the Dubai market, Menon launched two iconic projects in the heart of the city– SobhaHartland, a US$4 billion mixed-use luxury development that includes villas, townhouses, and apartments, and District One, an US$8 billion joint venture with Meydan Group, comprising 1,500 ultra-luxury villas. Menon actively participates in philanthropic initiatives in the UAE, India, and Oman. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Rashid Centre for the Determined Ones. Along with his wife Sobha Menon, he is also a signatory of the global philanthropic campaign The Giving Pledge.

Francis Alfred is the Managing Director of Sobha Realty, an international luxury real estate developer that specializes in premium residential apartments, townhouses, and villas. A forward-looking leader with vast experience in the field, Francis has played diverse roles and led the company’s business operations across India and the UAE for two decades before he was appointed Managing Director of Sobha’s Middle East operations in 2016. Spearheading some of Sobha Realty’s most outstanding achievements, he is responsible for overseeing the company’s strategic global expansion and diversification while managing, monitoring, and master planning the design and delivery of several real estate projects.
His hands-on leadership style has been instrumental in ensuring the timely delivery of projects that meet the highest standards of quality and excellence. Under his watch, Sobha has witnessed achievements and milestones that have catapulted the company into the ranks of leading real estate developers in the UAE today.
An expert in the contemporary and innovative construction style, Franics pay keen attention on digitalization to propel Sobha and the real estate industry forward. Gravitating towards Contech and Proptech, Francis supports the rollout of next-generation technologies such as robotics, artificial intelligence, and data analytics.
He also advocates for lean manufacturing and business processes, as well as led the implementation of Sobha’s backward integration model in the region. This has resulted in the vertical integrations of the company’s manufacturing and services.

1976 HUMBLE BEGINNINGS Mr.Menon's journey started in 1976 in Oman where he established the roots of the company with a determination to create the very best in terms of quality and craftsmanship. Services and Trade Company was set up in Muscat, Oman as a fledgling business for maintenance and repairs before developing into an interiors outfit that by 1984, had set itself on course to win big contracts, driven by a strong reputation for good quality work.

Within a very few years through sheer perseverance and demonstrated excellence, the company went on to work for the royalty of Oman, Bahrain, Brunei, Qatar, and the president of Tajikistan.Mr. PNC Menon spent the most glorious part of his career designing and developing palaces, royal facilities, and mosques. The Grand Mosque in Muscat bears testimony to his work. Over 8 years, he developed a strong bond with Oman, a country that provided him with a strong foundation and “backbone” that has enabled him to achieve greater success in the years ahead.
