Backward Integration
Backward integration is a methodology in which a company expands its role to fulfill tasks formerly completed
by businesses up the supply chain. In other words, backward integration is when a company acquires or holds
other companies that supply the products or services needed for production.

DESIGN
We have in-house capabilities in the field of architecture, interior design, and landscaping. The design studio
boasts of 70 plus professionals from various fields who continually explore the finest of trends from across
the globe and incorporate them into projects.
ENGINEERING & CONTRACTING
The primary capability areas that have been mastered by us encompass - foundation, formwork, masonry,
concreting, and roofing. The secondary capability areas include the MEP division (mechanical, electrical, and
plumbing) which takes care of all lighting, air conditioning, plumbing needs. This eliminates the likelihood of contractor defaulting which is known to plague many real estate projects across the world.
MATERIAL SOURCING
From the remote corners of a residential unit to the smack center of the living room, the materials used by us are manufactured in-house and are top-notch with a lifetime that would serve generations. We’ve created in-house manufacturing capabilities in areas such as furniture, façade, mattresses, concreting, pre-casting, etc. All machinery used at our manufacturing units are of German make and operate with German precision.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
At Sobha, we’ve perfected the art of craftsmanship over decades, in areas like tiling, joinery, woodwork,
painting, polishing, etc. No layer of paint is uneven, not a single tile is mislaid. The marble tiles are dry laid
and adjusted aesthetically to achieve intricate vein patterns. The bathrooms are 100% leak-proof and boast
of ZERO water stagnation. 54 mm thick doors slide with ease at a flick of your little finger.
QUALITY CONTROL
An autonomous quality control cell, reporting directly into the legend - Mr. P N C Menon – himself, works
with a hawk eye to ensure that even the remotest of defects that might have crept in despite the rigor are
weeded out before the product is presented to the customers. The team headed by German Engineer, Olaf
Wagner, follows processes that find mention in the case studies of Harvard Business School.
